Baccarat Procedures

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards that are valued under 10 are counted at their printed value whereas 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Wagers are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they strictly appear as the two hands to be dealt).

Two hands of two cards will now be dealt to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The score for any hand is the sum total of the 2 cards, but the 1st digit is dumped. For eg, a hand of seven and five produces a tally of 2 (7plus5=twelve; drop the ‘one’).

A 3rd card may be dealt depending on the foll. codes:

- If the player or banker has a value of eight or nine, the two gamblers stand.

- If the bettor has 5 or lower, he hits. Players stand otherwise.

- If player stands, the banker hits of five or less. If the player hits, a chart shall be used in order to decide if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The higher of the 2 scores is the winner. Winning wagers on the banker pay at 19 to 20 (even money minus a 5 percent commission. Commission is tracked and paid out when you leave the table so make sure that you have dollars left before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay one to 1. Winner bets for tie as a rule pays out at eight to one and sometimes 9 to 1. (This is a terrible gamble as ties will occur lower than one every 10 hands. abstain from laying money on a tie. However odds are somewhat better – nine to 1 versus 8 to one)

Played accurately, baccarat offers pretty good odds, apart from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Strategy

As with most games, Baccarat has some common myths. One of which is similar to a roulette misconception. The past is surely not an indicator of future happenings. Monitoring of past conclusions on a chart is simply a waste of paper and a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most established and probably most successful method is the 1-3-two-6 concept. This plan is used to boost earnings and lowering risk.

start by gambling one unit. If you win, add one more to the 2 on the table for a total of three on the second bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, remove 4 so you have two on the third wager. If you win the 3rd bet, add two to the four on the table for a sum of six on the 4th wager.

If you lose on the 1st wager, you take a loss of one. A win on the 1st bet followed up by loss on the second brings about a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the fourth mean you come out even. Coming out on top on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of 10. Thus you can get beaten the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
