Baccarat Banque Standards
Punto banco is wagered on with 8 decks in a shoe. Cards below ten are counted at their printed number and with 10, J, Q, K are zero, and A is 1. Wagers are made on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not really people; they simply represent the two hands to be dealt).
Two hands of 2 cards are then given to the ‘bank’ and ‘gambler’. The score for every hand is the total of the cards, however the first digit is discarded. For example, a hand of 5 and 6 has a total of one (5 plus 6 equals eleven; drop the first ‘one’).
A 3rd card may be given using the rules below:
- If the player or bank gets a score of eight or 9, the two players stay.
- If the gambler has 5 or less, she hits. Players stands otherwise.
- If the player holds, the banker hits on 5 or less. If the player hits, a guide is used to decide if the house stands or hits.
Baccarat Odds
The better of the two hands wins. Winning wagers on the house payout nineteen to Twenty (equal cash less a 5 percent rake. Commission are tracked and paid off when you quit the table so be sure to still have money remaining before you leave). Winning wagers on the gambler pays 1 to 1. Winning bets for a tie typically pays 8:1 but occasionally 9:1. (This is a bad wager as a tie occurs lower than 1 in every 10 rounds. Be cautious of putting money on a tie. However odds are astonishingly better for nine to one vs. eight to one)
Wagered on correctly baccarat banque gives generally decent odds, apart from the tie bet of course.
Punto Banco Scheme
As with all games punto banco has a few general misconceptions. One of which is similar to a misunderstanding in roulette. The past is not a fore-teller of events yet to happen. Recording past results at a table is a bad use of paper and a snub to the tree that gave its life for our paper desires.
The most established and almost certainly the most favorable course of action is the 1-3-2-6 method. This plan is employed to build up earnings and minimizing losses.
Start by wagering 1 chip. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the game table for a sum total of three units on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the game table, pull off four so you keep 2 on the third bet. If you come away with a win on the 3rd round, deposit 2 to the 4 on the table for a grand total of six on the fourth round.
If you lose on the 1st wager, you take a loss of 1. A profit on the initial round followed by a loss on the second causes a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the third provides you with a profit of two. And wins on the first 3 with a defeat on the fourth means you break even. Winning all 4 wagers gives you with twelve, a gain of 10. This means you will be able to lose the 2nd wager five times for each successful streak of 4 bets and in the end, balance the books.
