Baccarat Banque Policies
Punto banco is played with 8 decks of cards in a shoe. Cards under 10 are worth face value while 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is one. Wagers are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these aren’t actual people; they just represent the two hands to be dealt).
Two cards are dealt to both the ‘bank’ and ‘player’. The score for each hand is the total of the cards, however the beginning digit is dropped. e.g., a hand of 5 and 6 has a score of 1 (five plus six equals eleven; ditch the initial ‘one’).
A 3rd card can be given out using the following rules:
- If the gambler or banker has a total of 8 or 9, the two players hold.
- If the player has less than 5, he hits. Players holds otherwise.
- If the player stands, the house hits on 5 or less. If the gambler takes a card, a guide is used to determine if the bank stays or takes a card.
Baccarat Banque Odds
The better of the two totals wins. Winning bets on the house pay out 19 to 20 (even money minus a 5 percent commission. Commission are tracked and cleared out once you depart the table so ensure you still have funds around before you leave). Winning bets on the player pays 1:1. Winning bets for tie normally pays eight to one but occasionally 9:1. (This is a poor bet as ties occur less than one in every ten hands. Be wary of gambling on a tie. Although odds are astonishingly better for 9:1 vs. eight to one)
Played correctly baccarat provides generally good odds, apart from the tie bet of course.
Baccarat Method
As with all games punto banco has quite a few established false impressions. One of which is close to a myth in roulette. The past is not a fore-teller of events about to happen. Recording past outcomes at a table is a poor use of paper and an insult to the tree that gave its life for our paper needs.
The most common and almost certainly the most successful method is the one, three, two, six technique. This plan is used to pump up earnings and minimizing risk.
Begin by betting one dollar. If you succeed, add another to the 2 on the game table for a sum total of three dollars on the second bet. Should you win you will retain six on the table, pull off four so you have 2 on the 3rd round. Should you succeed on the 3rd wager, add 2 to the four on the game table for a sum total of 6 on the fourth bet.
If you do not win on the initial wager, you take a hit of one. A win on the first bet followed by a loss on the second causes a loss of two. Wins on the initial two with a loss on the third gives you with a profit of 2. And wins on the 1st 3 with a hit on the 4th means you break even. Succeeding at all 4 rounds gives you with 12, a gain of ten. This means you will be able to lose the second bet 5 times for each successful streak of 4 rounds and in the end, balance the books.
