Baccarat Banque Policies

Punto banco is played with 8 decks in a dealing shoe. Cards under 10 are worth their printed value while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are zero, and A is 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these are not actual people; they simply represent the 2 hands that are dealt).

Two cards are given to both the ‘house’ and ‘gambler’. The score for every hand is the total of the 2 cards, however the 1st number is ignored. For example, a hand of five and six has a total of one (5 plus 6 equals 11; drop the first ‘1′).

A 3rd card will be given depending on the following rules:

- If the player or bank gets a value of 8 or 9, the two players hold.

- If the player has less than five, he takes a card. Players stands otherwise.

- If the gambler stands, the banker hits on five or less. If the gambler hits, a table is used to figure out if the bank stays or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The greater of the 2 scores wins. Winning bets on the bank pay out 19 to 20 (equal cash minus a 5 percent rake. Commission are recorded and cleared out once you leave the table so ensure you still have funds left just before you quit). Winning wagers on the player pays 1 to 1. Winning wagers for tie normally pays 8 to 1 but sometimes 9:1. (This is a bad wager as a tie occurs less than one in every 10 hands. Be wary of wagering on a tie. Although odds are astonishingly better for 9:1 versus eight to one)

Wagered on correctly baccarat banque provides generally good odds, apart from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Scheme

As with all games Baccarat has some familiar false impressions. One of which is the same as a misunderstanding in roulette. The past is not an indicator of future actions. Keeping track of previous outcomes on a sheet of paper is a waste of paper and a snub to the tree that surrendered its life for our stationary needs.

The most familiar and probably the most successful scheme is the one-three-two-six technique. This plan is used to build up profits and limit losses.

Start by betting one chip. If you win, add one more to the 2 on the game table for a grand total of three units on the second bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, subtract four so you keep 2 on the 3rd bet. If you succeed on the 3rd round, add two on the 4 on the table for a total of 6 on the fourth round.

If you do not win on the first round, you take a loss of one. A profit on the 1st wager followed by a hit on the 2nd brings about a hit of 2. Success on the initial 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you with a take of 2. And success on the 1st 3 with a loss on the 4th means you are even. Succeeding at all four rounds gives you with 12, a profit of ten. This means you are able to give up the 2nd round five instances for each successful run of four bets and in the end, are even.
