Baccarat Policies

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards under 10 are said to be worth their printed number and on the other hand ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Bets are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual players; they merely appear as the 2 hands to be dealt).

Two hands of two cards will now be given to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The value for any hand is the grand total of the 2 cards, but the 1st digit is removed. For eg, a hand of 7 and five has a value of 2 (sevenplus5=12; drop the ‘1′).

A 3rd card may be given out depending on the following standards:

- If the bettor or banker has a value of eight or 9, then both players stand.

- If the bettor has five or lower, he/she hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of five or lower. If the gambler hits, a chart might be used in order to see if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The bigger of the two scores is the winner. Victorious bets on the banker pay out nineteen to 20 (even odds less a five percent commission. Commission is monitored and paid out when you leave the table so be sure to have money left over before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay 1 to one. Winner bets for tie by and large pay out eight to 1 but on occasion 9 to 1. (This is a terrible gamble as ties happen lower than one every ten hands. Run away from placing bets on a tie. However odds are decidedly better – 9 to one vs. 8 to one)

When done properly, baccarat offers pretty good odds, away from the tie bet ofcourse.

Baccarat Strategy

As with all games, Baccarat has some well-known misunderstandings. One of which is quite similar to a misconception of roulette. The past is in no way a predictor of future results. Monitoring of old results on a chart is undoubtedly a total waste of paper … a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most popular and feasibly most successful tactic is the 1-3-two-6 technique. This technique is deployed to build up payouts and cutting back risk.

Begin by betting 1 unit. If you win, add 1 more to the two on the table for a total of 3 on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have six on the table, take away 4 so you have 2 on the 3rd bet. If you win the third gamble, add two to the 4 on the table for a sum of six on the fourth bet.

If you lose on the first bet, you suck up a loss of 1. A win on the first bet followed by loss on the 2nd will create a loss of two. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the third gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the fourth mean you come out even. A win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of 10. In other words you can fail to win the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
