Baccarat Banque Rules and Method

Punto Banco Standards

Punto banco is wagered on with eight decks in a shoe. Cards under ten are worth face value while at the same time Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is one. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these are not actual people; they just represent the two hands to be dealt).

Two hands of two cards are then dealt to the ‘house’ and ‘player’. The value for every hand is the total of the cards, but the first digit is ignored. e.g., a hand of 5 and 6 has a total of 1 (5 plus 6 equals 11; ditch the 1st ‘one’).

A third card might be dealt using the rules below:

- If the gambler or bank achieves a score of eight or 9, both players stand.

- If the player has less than 5, she takes a card. Players otherwise stand.

- If the gambler holds, the bank takes a card on 5 or less. If the player hits, a chart is employed to determine if the banker stands or takes a card.

Baccarat Odds

The larger of the 2 scores wins. Winning wagers on the banker pay out nineteen to Twenty (equal cash minus a 5% rake. The Rake is tracked and paid off when you quit the game so ensure you have money left over just before you depart). Winning bets on the gambler pays out at 1 to 1. Winning bets for tie usually pays eight to one but occasionally nine to one. (This is a poor wager as ties occur lower than one in every ten rounds. Be cautious of putting money on a tie. However odds are substantially better for 9 to 1 vs. 8:1)

Gambled on properly baccarat gives pretty decent odds, aside from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Banque Course of Action

As with all games baccarat banque has some common false impressions. One of which is similar to a misunderstanding in roulette. The past is not a fore-teller of future actions. Tracking previous outcomes at a table is a bad use of paper and an insult to the tree that gave its life for our paper desires.

The most accepted and almost certainly the most accomplished course of action is the one-three-two-six tactic. This plan is used to maximize earnings and limit risk.

Start by betting 1 chip. If you win, add one more to the 2 on the table for a grand total of three chips on the second bet. Should you succeed you will hold six on the table, take away four so you have 2 on the third round. If you come away with a win on the third round, add 2 to the four on the table for a grand total of 6 on the 4th wager.

Should you do not win on the first bet, you take a hit of one. A profit on the first bet followed by a hit on the 2nd causes a hit of two. Wins on the 1st 2 with a defeat on the 3rd provides you with a gain of two. And wins on the 1st 3 with a defeat on the fourth means you break even. Winning at all four wagers gives you with twelve, a gain of 10. This means you will be able to squander the 2nd wager five times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still experience no loss.
